Mal de blog et mal de mer

Things have been a bit slower recently in the ocean blogosphere. Kevin Z and Dr. M have issued mea culpas/excuses for inaction. After two weeks in India, during which my DNS registration expired, I returned to Seattle to find myself busy beyond belief getting ready for the upcoming meeting of the ICES Working Group on Fisheries Acoustics Science and Technology in San Diego just over a week. I’ve been coding nonstop for the past several days, trying to get various analyses finished. I’m working on a post or two, but for the moment, I figured I would follow up on Miriam’s brave post on seasickness, and post one of my favorite pictures of myself at sea. Notice the subtle green shade of my face…

  1. Miriam says:

Hey, I’m going to be on the Seamans this summer from HI to CA! Forecast: epic barfage. If you have time when you’re in San Diego drop me a line & we can get lunch.

In retrospect, those two sentences should not go together.
